It's Time For The Joker To Return To The UFC.

It's been on everybody's lips for a while now, Jess "The Joker" Liaudin has surely earnt his return to the UFC.

It was the 21st of April back in 2008 when Liaudin had his first run at the UFC. His debut match-up was against Dennis Siver, Liaudin disposed of him in spectacular fashion with an armbar just over a minute into the first round. Liaudin then followed that up with another spectacular finish a few months later, knocking out Anthony Torres just over 4 minutes into the first round. (Torres was later found to be using PEDs in the match up).

This was followed by 3 losses, a nasty early KO by Marcus Davis after a disaster of a training camp that saw Jess unable to train correctly for two weeks before the fight. Followed by a split decision loss to Paul Taylor, and in fairness, everybody in the arena felt the Joker had clearly won the fight except for two of the judges. Then there was the fight against against Sweden's David Bielkheden . After injuring and breaking his ribs in the first round Liaudin refused to give up, he fought until the end giving the fans a great show, a very brave performance indeed.

Jess was then cut from the UFC, harsh but fair after 3 losses in a row. Jess had to go back to the drawing board and earn his way back to the biggest MMA show on the planet. This was very hard at first as nobody really wanted to fight him, add to this the fact that Jess was not prepared to go the same route as many other fighters and take easy match-ups. This was followed by pull out after pull out by Liaudins opponents. Any fighter will tell you how hard this is to deal with especially mid-way through weight cuts and training camps. But Jess focused and kept looking, he also took roles in TV shows and movies to help subsidise his pay, as well as working at the gym, helping new fighters break into the sport.

So here we are, over 3 years since Jess Liaudin was released from the UFC.

Liaudin has racked up six straight MMA victory's against tough opponents including the likes of Pete Irving, Rafael Silva and M1 veteran Juan Manuel Suarez bringing his record to 11 wins to 3 defeats in his last 14 fights. All 3 losses in the UFC.

Time is now the enemy for Jess and his dream of having another run in the UFC as he turns 39 in December of this year.

The U.K fans as well as many fans across Europe have made it clear on forums that they want to see The Joker have his return to the biggest stage in the MMA industry. We have heard the world's number one promoter Dana White say on many occasions that the door is always open for a return to the U.F.C if you get back out there and win fights. The Joker has done this, and done it in style. So come on Dana, give your UK demographic another present this year. Give us Jess Liaudin vs The Best Fighters on the Planet.

He, and we, deserve it.
