UIC 8: Mario Saeed Exclusive
A submission expert out of Trojan Free Fighters in Gloucester, Mario has won his last two bouts on UIC cards by submission in a total of just 3 minutes and 11 seconds! That's impressive in anyone's books. So can Mario make it a hat-trick of UIC submission wins in just three weeks' time? You'll have to be there to find out!
AddictedMMA: Hey Mario it's good to talk to you today. Ultimate Impact Cagefighting is just over the horizon now! How is training at Trojan going for your fight?
Mario:
AddictedMMA: After your fight at Pain Pit two weeks ago you must be itching to get back into the cage?
Mario: Yeah I really can't wait to get back in the cage; as the saying goes "if you don't have the skills to pay the bills, you will get beat up from the feet up."
AddictedMMA: You're going up against Sean May on the main card on the 4th, what do you know about Sean and what are you expecting from the fight?
Mario: I don't know much about him apart from that he's a family man, but I'm prepared to fight any man who's willing to get in the cage with me.
AddictedMMA: Your last two fights on UIC cards have ended with quick and impressive submission finishes. Both times I've been very impressed with your performances; I'm guessing you'd like to have a repeat performance of your UIC 7 fight against Sean!
Mario: Yeah obviously I'm in it to win it, and I never really plan my actions but whatever opportunity comes my way, I take full advantage.
AddictedMMA: At the weigh-ins and upon entering the cage you're famous for wearing the black mask. What's that about then?
Mario: Mask????It's a balaclava!! (Laughing)

AddictedMMA: UIC 8 is stacked with some insanely good looking fights which is a testament to Paul Sutherland's matchmaking abilities. Apart from your own which fight are you looking forward to the most?
Mario: The main man, Ben Constantine - his cage will be on fire!! I cannot wait Steve.
AddictedMMA: The main event is a fight I can't wait to see. The trilogy fight between Ben Constantine and Lee Caers, how do you see that fight going?
Mario: Ben all the way mate. That's all I am gonna say.
