The bout will take place at UFC on FUEL TV 4, which goes down July 11, 2012, at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
32 year old Paul "Relentless" Taylor (11-6-1-1) has built a reputation as one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC's 155lb division. Since joining the promotion back in 2007, Taylor has gone 4-5 in the UFC, with seven of his bouts occuring at welterweight. Since making the drop to 155lbs, Taylor has gone 1-1, losing a close split decision to Sam Stout, before knockoing out Gabe Reudiger in stylish fashion. Taylor's bout with Njokuani will be his tenth UFC fight.
32 year old Anthony "The Assassin" Njokuani is a former WEC veteran, amassing a 4-3 record for the former UFC sister promotion. Since making his UFC debut, the Nigerian has gone 2-2, with losses to Edson barboza and Danny Castillo, and posting wins over Andre Winner, and most recently, at UFC 145, a decision win over John Makdessi.
You can expect fireworks for this one Addicts, as between the two men, they have three knockout of the night awards, and four fight of the night awards.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 will feature a main event of Mark Munoz vs. Chris Weidman.
