Hector Lombard vs. Brian Stann To Headline UFC on FOX 4UFC obviously has big plans for newest signing Hector Lombard, as it has been confirmed that his UFC debut against Brian Stann will now headline the UFC on FOX 4 event, which is scheduled for the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, on August 4th, 2012.
34 year old Hector "Lightning" Lombard (31-2-1-1) joined the UFC after being one of the hottest free agents on the MMA market. Winning both the Bellator Middleweight tournament, the Bellator Middleweight title, the CFC Middleweight title, as well as putting together a 25 fight unbeaten streak, put the Cuban destroyer firmly in the crosshairs of the UFC. With his contract with Bellator recently coming to an end, Lombard decided to take his shot at the big time.
31 year old Brian "The All American" Stann (12-4) has been a revelation since dropping down to the UFC's 185lb middleweight division back in August of 2010. The American war hero has put together a 4-1 record, scoring impressive knockout wins over Chris Leben, Jorge Santiago and most recently, Alessio Sakara.
With both men loving to stand and strike, you can almost guarantee someone is getting KTFO, Addicts.
Also booked for UFC on FOX 4 is a light heavyweight bout between Lyoto Machida and Ryan Bader.
