Todd Duffee vs. Jeff Monson Headlines Super Fight League 4 On September 8th

An interesting heavyweight bout featuring two former UFC stars has been booked to headline Super Fight League 4, as Todd Duffee and Jeff Monson have agreed to tangle when the promotion rolls into Bangalore, India on September 8th, 2012.

26 year old Todd Duffee (7-2) seemed set for a big UFC future just a couple of years ago. Young, built like a tank and with the (then) quickest ever UFC knockout to his name, Duffee seemed destined for superstardom. It never quite worked out though, and he left the promotion soon after a shock loss to Mike Russow. Since leaving the promotion, Duffee has fought just twice, a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem and a 35 second TKO win over Neil Grove.

41 year old Jeff "The Snowman" Monson (46-13-1) is a true veteran of the sport, taking in spells in promotions such as Dream, Strikeforce, M-1 and the UFC. The known anarchsit holds notable wins over Kazuyuki Fujita, Mark Kerr, Ricco Rodriguez, Roy Nelson and Sergei Kharitanov. Monson is currently unbeaten in his last four fights.
